I remember when I was a little girl, my Grandma had all of these cheap cardboard prints in frames hanging on her walls. My favorite was this cheap cardboard imitation of a painting "Christina's World" by Andrew Wyeth, It featured a Woman, who I'm assuming is Christina...crawling in this field, with a house in the distance. Of course now I know it's about a woman with Polio, but from a child's perspective, I loved to dream up story lines as to why this woman was lying in this desolate field...and that is exactly what I want my prints to be thought provoking, even if the thought is Dang...that's an ugly picture!
